Interim Management for Airports
While under contract to review airport facilities and operating procedures at a Central Asian airport, SASI identified new marketing opportunities, which if exploited could significantly increase movements and revenue for the airport.
At the time, the airport did not have personnel in place to pursue these options, thus our original mandate was expanded to capture that business. A new agreement was put in place so that SASI was able to provide interim marketing and operational management for a one-year period.
As a result of that interim management assignment, the airport secured over 180 additional movements per month, while during the one-year period SASI also trained airport authority staff to maintain and grow their business.
